Different Hair Loss Prevention Methods You Can Use

Hair loss is something that we all encounter on a regular basis.  It is considered normal to lose up to 100 hair strands per day.  Mainly, the reason why this happens is that each of our hair follicles is in different stages of hair growth cycles.  When a hair follicle reaches the resting cycle, it first gets rid of the hair strand attached to it through the shrinking of hair follicle and cutting off the hair’s blood supply.  As a consequence, the hair strand falls off of its connection with the hair follicle.

Men who have inherited the genetic trait of male pattern baldness will begin to lose hair once their condition has triggered and matured.  They will begin to lose more than just 100 hair strands per day as the genetic condition they have begins to make them grow bald.  The condition itself weakens the hair follicles from the scalp in a patterned manner.  Hair follicles that are no longer able to support the weight of the hair begin to discard the hair strand attached to them.  Aside from just losing a lot of hair strands, the follicles undergo a rest cycle wherein they inevitably die and can no longer produce hair.

If you have inherited the trait of male pattern baldness or are losing a lot of hair, there are different hair loss prevention methods you can try.  While some hair loss prevention methods are not as effective as others, as long as you are able to carry out at least some hair loss prevention, then at the very least you are able to save some parts of your hair.

The use of chemicals for hair treatment processes has always been associated with hair loss.  If your hair or scalp is sensitive to hair treatment formulas, try using chemicals that are all-natural and more gentle to your hair and scalp.  Hair loss prevention does not always have to be the use of hair loss treatment remedies, but more like avoiding the suspected reasons why you are developing hair loss in the first place. Hair Loss Treatments – Methods You Can Use

There are many reasons as to why a person can suffer hair loss.  Although it is not uncommon to lose around 100 hair strands on any given day, losing more than that may require you to intervene through the use of hair loss treatments.  Of course, when considering the use of hair loss treatments, it is important to consider the causal factor as to why you are having hair loss in the first place.  Knowing the reason to your hair loss condition is the key to identifying the hair loss treatments that you may need.

Eat Right – loss of hair can be attributed to the lack of vitamins and minerals necessary having hair strength.  Not having the proper diet or the intake of unhealthy foods can lead to lack in the necessary nutrients that are involved with both hair growth and hair strength.  By eating healthy, you will be able to provide your body the necessary nourishments it needs to keep everything functioning properly.  Hair loss treatments do not always have to be remedies in itself, but more of proper diet and healthy living.

Hair Style – there are certain hair styles that can put stress in the hair follicles.  Of course, there is always a limit to just how much stress you can put in your hair strands.  A hair style that requires too much pulling may damage your scalp along with the hair follicles in it.  The best hair loss treatments you can use for this is to simply sport a simpler hair style, one that does not involve a lot of pulling which only put stress in the hair and the hair follicle.

Proper Washing – while it may not come to you as an actual method for hair loss treatments, the proper washing  of the hair and scalp helps in removing unnecessary dirt and oil that may hinder proper hair growth.  It is important that the hair is always kept clean as much as possible and that you avoid harsh chemicals when doing cleaning, washing, and styling on your hair.  The use of harsh chemicals may actually do some damage to your scalp which in turn may result in some hair loss issues.
